During the court proceedings, Officer Serkan Sakallı provided testimony regarding the incident. According to Sakallı, on May 3, 2024, at approximately 17:30, a police team stationed at Ercan Airport responded to Pamir's alert in the passenger lounge. Subsequent examination of Koçak's luggage led to the discovery of various narcotics, including what is believed to be marijuana mixed with tobacco, as well as quantities of cannabis resin and cocaine wrapped in transparent nylon.

Koçak was promptly arrested on the scene and issued a statement to the authorities. While the statement awaits verification, the seized substances have been sent for analysis, with results pending. As part of the ongoing investigation, law enforcement has requested a further 3-day extension to Koçak's custody.

Following a review of the evidence presented, Judge Zehra Yalkut Bilgeç granted the request, ordering Koçak to remain in police custody for an additional 72 hours for continued investigation into the matter.
