President Tatar Rejects Holguin's Proposal for Trilateral Meeting

President Ersin Tatar disclosed that during today's meeting with Maria Holguin, the Personal Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, she proposed a trilateral meeting involving himself and the Greek Cypriot leader Nikos Hristodulidis. However, Tatar stated that this proposal was declined.

Speaking to Kıbrıs Postası, Tatar stated, "Holguin proposed a trilateral meeting. However, we rejected it."

Following the meeting with Holguin today, President Tatar addressed the press, indicating the absence of any common ground between the parties. He emphasized that if the sovereignty of the Turkish Cypriot side is not acknowledged, returning to the negotiation table would not be an option.
