Üstel Addresses Arrests in the South: All Titles are State-Guaranteed

Üstel made significant statements regarding recent arrests in South Cyprus, highlighting the transformation of property-related targeting into intimidation tactics that violate human rights.

"INVESTORS IN THE TRNC CAN REST EASY"

Reaffirming that all property titles are state-guaranteed by the Constitution, Üstel stated, "Those who invest in the TRNC and those who wish to do so can be at ease."

Prime Minister Üstel condemned the South Cyprus administration’s recent human rights violations aimed at intimidating the Turkish Cypriot community and emphasized that the process is being closely monitored.

"WE ARE MAKING INTERNATIONAL EFFORTS"

Describing these intimidation tactics as attempts to sabotage the development of the TRNC economy and to deter incoming investments, Prime Minister Üstel mentioned that they are taking international steps and working with expert lawyers to eliminate these unlawful practices.

"We are constantly consulting with representatives from the construction sector during this process," said Üstel, underlining that investors in the TRNC can be reassured.

"SOUTH CYPRUS CAN NEVER INTIMIDATE OR DESTROY US"

"The government and state of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus stand firmly behind every title issued. It should be remembered that, according to the Constitution, all titles are under state guarantee.

In summary, we stand behind every title and every investment made in accordance with our country's laws.

South Cyprus, which has never been able to intimidate or destroy the Turkish Cypriot community throughout history, will never be able to do so with such policies.”
