Construction of Champion Angels Education Campus Targeted to Begin in 2025

President of the Champion Angels Preservation Association, Ruşen Yücesoylu Karakaya, stated that the clearing of the site was completed with the support of the Highways Department and Gazimağusa Municipality.

According to Karakaya, the area's borders were cleaned of lightweight structures and debris, making it ready for construction. He expressed gratitude to citizens who responded sensitively to boundary violations on the site, hoping that unresolved issues would be similarly resolved soon to prepare the area for the project.

Karakaya emphasized the association's aim to commence school construction in early 2025, stating:

"We are striving with all our might to bring to life an education campus that will honor the names and memories of our champion angels, meet the city's needs, and serve as a benchmark for future educational facilities. We believe it will contribute not only academically but also culturally, artistically, and in sports to the development of our community. We extend our thanks to all institutions, organizations, and individuals who have contributed or will contribute during this process."

Karakaya also announced that in the coming days, a protocol would be signed between the Prime Ministry, Ministry of National Education, KTMMOB, and the Association to initiate project competition efforts.

He conveyed his gratitude to all parties involved in clearing the site.
