Traffic Police conducted nationwide traffic inspections yesterday, resulting in 452 drivers being reported.

Nationwide Traffic Inspections Result in 452 Drivers Being Reported

During these inspections, a total of 2,501 vehicle drivers were checked. Various traffic offenses led to legal action against 452 drivers, with one driver being arrested and 49 vehicles taken off the road.

According to information provided by the police, the reported traffic violations included:

  • 184 for exceeding the legal speed limit
  • 8 for driving under the influence of alcohol
  • 4 for driving without a license and insurance
  • 45 for using a mobile phone while driving
  • 27 for not wearing a seatbelt
  • 35 for driving without a valid vehicle registration
  • 10 for driving without insurance
  • 2 for failing to comply with traffic lights
  • 137 for other traffic offenses

These inspections and subsequent actions highlight the ongoing efforts to maintain road safety and enforce traffic regulations across the country.
