Tatar emphasized that the Turkish Cypriot side will not engage in futile processes that contribute to the comfort zone of the Greek Cypriots, asserting that the federation model has been exhausted as a compromise solution. He noted, "The disruption of this game, which is one of the main reasons for the Turkish Cypriots' inability to access basic human rights, has occurred."

In his statement regarding Christodoulides’ speech, Tatar said, "As the Turkish Cypriot side, while continuing our struggle for the affirmation of our inherent rights, we will also work on areas of cooperation that will benefit both sides."

He added, "The Greek leader could not tolerate President Erdoğan's defense of our rights and call for the recognition of our state during the 79th UN General Assembly, where our voices were heard. I return his remarks in this regard."

Tatar stated clearly, "We, as the Turkish Cypriot side, will not engage in futile processes aimed at contributing to the comfort zone of the Greek Cypriots. The federation has been exhausted as a compromise model. The disruption of this game is one of the main reasons for the Turkish Cypriots' inability to access basic human rights."

In his written statement, Tatar further commented, "The Greek leader delivered a speech reflecting the primitive politics of the status they have usurped for 61 years at the UN General Assembly. Due to this mentality of the Greek administration, the 1960 Partnership Republic lasted only three years, and Turkish Cypriots were forcibly removed from the administration, with key articles of the Constitution related to partnership unilaterally changed in violation of the Constitution."

He attributed the lack of a resolution to the Cyprus issue to this understanding, stating that the Greek leadership has continuously rejected sharing governance and prosperity while trying to mislead the international community with a duplicitous approach. Tatar criticized the Greek leader for continuing to violate the fundamental human rights of the Turkish Cypriots through isolationist policies.

In addressing the Greek leader, Tatar stated, "If he is looking for an example of distorting history, I recommend he look at his own history books, which continue to instill hatred against Turks in their children."

He underscored that Turkey’s intervention on July 20, 1974, known as the Peace Operation, brought peace not only to the Turkish Cypriots but to the entire island, establishing borders that have allowed both peoples to live in tranquility for 50 years without security concerns.

Tatar concluded, "My message to the Greek leader is clear: nothing is static, and the island of Cyprus is not closed to global dynamics. The affirmation of our inherent rights and the recognition of our sovereign equality and equal international status are essential for finding a resolution to the Cyprus issue. We, as the Turkish Cypriot side, will not engage in futile processes aimed at contributing to the comfort zone of the Greek Cypriots. The federation has been exhausted as a compromise model."
