Erdoğan at TDT Summit: Turkish World Holds Responsibility for Fair Solution in Cyprus
President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, called for responsibility within the Turkish world to achieve a fair solution in Cyprus, during his speech at the 11th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (TDT). "We expect the TRNC to soon take its place as a full member among us," Erdoğan stated.
Emphasizing the TRNC's presence at the summit as an honorary guest and observer member, Erdoğan remarked, "The TRNC’s participation in our summit today as an honorary guest and observer member reflects our solidarity with the Turkish Cypriots as the Turkish world."

In his speech, Erdoğan noted:
"We hope that Azerbaijan’s historic gains, achieved through sacrifice, will be further solidified with a peace agreement. The TRNC's presence at our summit as an honorary guest reflects our solidarity, and we anticipate its full membership soon. The Turkish world has a responsibility to support a fair solution in Cyprus. We also advocate for a lasting and just peace in Ukraine."
