Three Infants Discharged After Alcohol Found in Formula Incident
Three of the six infants whose formula was found to contain alcohol have been discharged from the Emergency Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The Ministry of Health announced that recent blood and urine tests on the six infants showed no traces of alcohol.
The Ministry's statement confirmed, "Three infants have been discharged. Following blood and urine tests conducted on the six infants treated in Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu Emergency Hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, no alcohol was detected.
Three infants were discharged to their families as they reached the desired physical development and weight. The remaining three infants, whose condition remains stable, will be discharged once they meet the required growth milestones."
