KSTU Case Adjourned to December 24
The trial involving officials of the Cyprus Health and Social Sciences University (KSTU) was adjourned to December 24 by the Nicosia Assize Court.
Serdal Gündüz, the university’s secretary-general and shareholder; Amir Shakerifard, the international office manager; and assistant Berk Özbek appeared in court today.
The defendants face charges including fraudulent acquisition of money, forgery, use of counterfeit documents, fraudulent accounting, money laundering, incitement to issue fake bank payment orders, and embezzlement by employees.
Presiding Judge Füsun Cemaller set the next hearing for Tuesday, December 24.
