The fifth hearing of the trial at Adıyaman's 3rd High Criminal Court began at 10:00 AM Turkish time, with a 15-minute recess.

Speaking to the press, Karakaya expressed her disappointment with the prosecutor's findings, saying:
"We are exhausted. Today, we realized that our fight is far from over. I had hoped the prosecutor would expose everything during this process, but that didn't happen. While the prosecutor detailed all the facts, the charges were limited to conscious negligence."

Karakaya condemned Bozkurt’s defense, stating:
"The only voices we hear when we come here are those of our children. We feel responsible for sending them here. Today, Ahmet Bozkurt continued his lies. If you truly built a perfect structure, where are our children?"

She highlighted their request for additional time to contest the prosecutor’s opinion and called for the defendants to be tried on charges of deliberate intent. Karakaya vowed to follow the legal process closely and reiterated their determination to fight for justice until the end.
