An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale hit the sea area between Cyprus and Turkey on Wednesday morning.
An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale hit the sea area between Cyprus and Turkey on Wednesday morning.
The European-Mediterranean seismological centre (EMSC) had initially said the quake was of a 5.1 magnitude, but revised to 4.8 a few minutes later.
The quake, 60km south of Alanya in Turkey, was felt in Cyprus.
