Greek Cypriot leader Nikos Christodoulides will travel to Brussels this evening to attend the European Council meeting scheduled for tomorrow.

According to Alithia newspaper, Christodoulides will participate in a European People's Party (EPP) meeting on EU enlargement tomorrow morning. Later, he is expected to join a discussion on migration hosted by Denmark’s prime minister, followed by his attendance at the European Council proceedings.

EU leaders are set to convene for a working dinner tomorrow evening to discuss developments in the Middle East and the situation in Syria. During his visit to Brussels, Christodoulides is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and other officials.

Accompanying Christodoulides are Marilena Raouna, Undersecretary for European Affairs, and Viktoras Papadopoulos, Director of the Presidential Political Office.
