Ataoğlu: "We Stand by Our President"
Democratic Party (DP) leader, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu expressed full alignment with President Ersin Tatar regarding the topics to be discussed at the Geneva meeting, stating, "We hope for the best for the TRNC."
Following President Tatar’s consultations with political parties represented in the Republic’s Assembly regarding the Geneva meeting, Ataoğlu emphasized that they stand by the President and wished for a positive outcome for the TRNC.
Speaking in front of the Presidency, Ataoğlu highlighted the significance of President Tatar’s discussions with political party representatives about the content of the Geneva meeting and expressed his gratitude for the invitation.
He reiterated that they have been in continuous dialogue with the President about the agenda in Geneva and are in full agreement. "We always stand by our President," he stated.
Noting that the Democratic Party will also participate in Geneva and hold discussions, Ataoğlu added, "Hopefully, this will be beneficial for the TRNC, and our expectations will gradually start to be met."
