According to information obtained by Kıbrıs Postası, United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is considering reappointing Maria Holguin, who had previously served as a temporary special advisor, as the UN Special Representative for Cyprus in order to continue the process.

It is believed that Guterres aims to continue the process initiated in Geneva and to take steps to implement trust-building measures among the parties.

Additionally, according to the latest developments, Guterres is reportedly planning a new meeting, potentially in June, during the summer months.
