İmamoğlu: “Our Struggle Is for Our Children, Justice, and a Better Future”
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu addressed his arrest following allegations of corruption and terrorism-related offenses, stating, “Our struggle is for our children, for justice, for the rule of law, and for a better future.”
İmamoğlu was taken into custody yesterday as part of a large-scale investigation involving 106 suspects, with 87 individuals detained so far.
In a statement on social media, İmamoğlu emphasized the power of solidarity and hope, declaring, “No force can stand against our unity. Our struggle is for our children, for justice, for the rule of law, and for a better future.”
