Drunk Driver Causes Chain-Reaction Crash in Nicosia
A traffic accident in Nicosia yesterday resulted in property damage but no injuries, with legal proceedings initiated against the intoxicated driver.
According to the police bulletin, 29-year-old driver Nikolas Nikiforou, operating a vehicle with license plate KQB 388, lost control due to reckless driving while under the influence of alcohol. A breathalyzer test revealed a blood alcohol level of 145 milligrams.
The vehicle veered off course and crashed into four parked cars, causing significant damage. While no one was injured in the incident, legal action has been taken against the driver.
