47,000 Contestants Apply for TEKNOFEST in the TRNC
Over 15,000 teams and 47,000 contestants have applied for TEKNOFEST, which will take place from May 1 to May 4 at the former Ercan Airport in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
The event, organized by the Turkey Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and under the auspices of the TRNC Presidency, is set to bring together technology enthusiasts, students, entrepreneurs, and innovators.
The festival will feature technology competitions in 7 main categories and 14 subcategories, showcasing innovative ideas that will shape the future of science and technology. The event will also include a range of activities, such as an air vehicle exhibition, a planetarium, a TRNC digital experience area, pedal-powered flight events, and stage performances.
In the "first flight" event, students will have the opportunity to experience the thrill of flight for the first time. Additionally, there will be aerial displays by SOLOTÜRK, Turkish Stars, F-4 fighter jets, ATAK helicopters, Hürkuş, ANKA 3, Bayraktar TB2, and TB3 aircraft.
