Simon Aykut’s Trial Postponed: Next Hearing on April 9

The trial of Simon Aykut, who is being held in custody in South Cyprus, has been postponed due to the need to examine new evidence submitted by the Greek Cypriot Land Registry Office. The next hearing is scheduled for April 9.

Aykut, who is accused of allegedly exploiting former Greek Cypriot properties in Northern Cyprus, was due to appear in court today. However, according to the news site "Alphanews," the court accepted a request for postponement to allow time for the review of newly presented evidence.
As a result, the investigative hearings, which were expected to begin today, have been delayed.
