Drunk Driver Causes Traffic Accident in Kyrenia: 1 Arrested

In the early hours of the morning, a traffic accident occurred in Kyrenia when a drunk driver, Dahir Bazarov, was driving in the wrong direction and collided with a pickup truck. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Bazarov, who was found to have 130 milligrams of alcohol in his blood, was arrested following the crash.

According to a police press release, Bazarov, 37, was driving a vehicle with license plate FF 525 when he drove against traffic on a one-way road and collided head-on with a truck driven by 52-year-old Kenan Kirişoğlu, whose vehicle had the license plate KY 859. The collision resulted in no injuries.

Bazarov was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and causing the traffic accident. The police investigation into the crash is ongoing.
