Doctors' Union: We Are Here for a Secular, Democratic, and Just Society

The Cyprus Turkish Doctors' Union (KTTB) has called for participation in a protest to be held tomorrow at 18:00 in Dereboyu, Nicosia.

The demonstration, which will advocate for secularism, teachers' rights, and scientific education, is described by KTTB as, "We stand by Atatürk's principles, and we are in the streets for a brighter future." The KTTB has confirmed that doctors will be present at the rally tomorrow.
In a written statement, the doctors declared, "We are taking action for a secular, democratic, and just society! We stand with the secular order and our teachers!" They called for participation in the protest at Dereboyu in Nicosia tomorrow at 18:00.
KTTB further emphasized, "We firmly oppose the politicization of our secular and democratic society, which is built on Atatürk’s principles. We advocate for the protection of children's rights and the continuation of a secular and scientific education system. To support a secular, democratic, and just order, we invite all our people and colleagues to unite for a brighter future."
