Arıklı: ‘We Will Hold a Respect for the Motherland Protest’ to Respond to ‘Go Home Elçi’ Slogans
Rebirth Party (YDP) Leader Erhan Arıklı announced that they would hold a protest called "Respect for the Motherland" and stated, "We will give a small response to those who say 'Go home, Ambassador.'"
Erhan Arıklı, the leader of the Rebirth Party (YDP) and Minister of Public Works and Transport, announced that the party would organize a "Respect for the Motherland" protest today at 17:30 in front of the Turkish Embassy in Nicosia.
In a statement on his social media account, Arıklı said, "In our symbolic protest, we will give a small response to those who say 'Go Home, Ambassador' and to the political parties, institutions, and organizations that support them. In the coming days, we will hold a large 'Respect for the Motherland' rally with thousands of participants. We invite all our party members to join tomorrow’s symbolic protest."
