The foundation for the new High Court building, set to be completed in 2026, was laid in a ceremony held at the Cumhuriyet Meclisi campus. The new building, which will be located on the same grounds as the Presidential Complex, will also house the National Library.

The ceremony, held at the conference hall of the new parliament campus, was attended by President Ersin Tatar, Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Speaker of the Parliament Ziya Öztürkler, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, High Court President Bertan Özerdağ, CTP Leader Tufan Erhürman, Turkish Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change Murat Kurum, ministers, lawmakers, and various officials.
The event included a video presentation of the Presidential Complex and the High Court building, followed by speeches.
The new building, covering nearly 7,000 square meters, will feature a 300-seat conference hall, five courtrooms for High Court use, a meeting room for the High Judicial Council, rooms for prosecutors and lawyers, and a large library.
The High Court, expected to be completed by early 2026, will be the first building specifically designed to accommodate both judicial and administrative functions.
