Levent College Wins “Best Orchestra” at High School Music Competition

Levent College won the “Best Orchestra” award at the Telsim Freezone 11th Inter-High School Music Competition, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education and Telsim.

The event was attended by Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu, Director of the Secondary Education Department Yusuf İnanıroğlu, Director of the Vocational Technical Education Department Gülşen Hocanın, and Telsim General Manager Sefer Tüz.
According to a statement from the Ministry of National Education Press Office, Levent College, which was selected as “Best Orchestra,” was awarded a studio recording and music video.
The Telsim Freezone 11th Inter-High School Music Competition, hosted by Eda Kandulu and Yaşar Köroğlu, featured a jury composed of pianist and academic Dr. Aslı Giray Akyunak, musician Hüseyin Altan, musician and academic Asst. Prof. Dr. İnal Bilsel, retired music teacher Kürşat Öztürk, orchestra conductor Murat Menket, and vocal coach Soyhan Bilgeer.
Held at the Nicosia Atatürk Indoor Sports Hall, the competition included 34 groups from 27 high schools. The event was broadcast live on BRT2, and during the jury evaluations, supervising music teachers took the stage.
Once again this year, the Telsim Freezone High School Music Competition utilized 5G technology. The jury conducted their evaluations of the performances online via the 5G network.
