The fires were attributed to several likely causes, including: electrical short circuits, carelessly discarded cigarette butts, sparks from contact between electrical wires igniting dry grass, mechanical failures in vehicles, fuel leaks igniting on hot surfaces, deliberate burning, and the spontaneous combustion of green-tied hay bales due to chemical reactions.

The 34 special service incidents included the rescue of cats trapped in stairwells and vehicle engine compartments, a dog stuck under a container, a boy stranded on the roof of a one-storey kiosk, and individuals trapped in elevators. The fire department also took precautionary measures against potential fires and facilitated the transfer of deceased individuals to hospitals for judicial investigations.
