Üstel: UBP’s Candidate Is Ersin Tatar
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel has ruled out the possibility of running in the upcoming presidential elections, stating that the National Unity Party (UBP) will support incumbent President Ersin Tatar.
Speaking to Kıbrıs Postası columnist Levent Özadam, Üstel said, “I am not a candidate for the presidency. UBP’s candidate is Ersin Tatar,” putting an end to recent speculation about his potential candidacy.
Üstel emphasized his focus on completing ongoing government projects, noting that he will be launching an intensive working period. He reaffirmed that UBP’s full support lies with President Tatar.
