Suspicion of Foul Play in Kyrenia Woman's Death: One Arrested
One person has been arrested in connection with the death of Ala Sholeh, a 39-year-old woman found dead in her residence in Kyrenia on April 20, 2025.
According to the Police Press Office, the suspect, identified as Y.S. (M-52), was detained on the same day as part of the ongoing investigation.
On April 22, Y.S. was brought before the Kyrenia District Court, which ordered that he remain in police custody for an additional four days as inquiries continue.
Authorities have not disclosed the cause of death, but the case is being investigated under suspicion of a possible homicide.
The police have stated that the investigation is ongoing.
