Workplace accidents continue to result in fatalities and injuries; in the first four months of 2025, four people lost their lives, and six others were seriously injured.

In the first four months of this year, four people have died in work-related accidents, and six have sustained serious injuries.

Fatal Work Accidents:

Sadly, workplace accidents in the country have continued to result in fatalities and severe injuries in 2025.

  • January 2, 2025 – Famagusta: 55-year-old Mustafa Kılınç was killed after iron profiles fell on him.

  • January 15, 2025 – Geçitköy: 42-year-old Halit Çeliksu lost his life after being electrocuted.

  • January 16, 2025 – Mutluyaka: 62-year-old Tamer Zeden was killed when the tractor he had started while not on it ran over him while he was performing maintenance.

  • April 8, 2025 – Taşkent: 35-year-old Fatih Şafakoğlu died after heavy materials fell on him.
