Diplaru: Political Will Will Bring Solution and Reunification

She emphasized that the creation of a culture of peace in Cyprus could contribute to finding a solution to the Cyprus problem. Diplaru also pointed out that political will is key to achieving both a solution and reunification.

In an interview with Politis newspaper, Diplaru explained that institutional support for contacts between the Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot communities is crucial for the transformation into a reunited country. She stated that the committee will work to weaken elements that are not conducive to solution and peace.

According to the report, Diplaru stressed the need for youth to be included in important issues such as the Cyprus problem, noting that the establishment of the Youth Technical Committee would provide an opportunity for young people to voice their opinions on the Cyprus issue.

She further emphasized that the Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot communities are very similar to each other and that a solution to the Cyprus problem must be found as soon as possible. Diplaru reiterated that the committee would work toward this goal.
