Extended Detention for Drug Trafficking Suspects in Nicosia
Four individuals arrested in Nicosia on drug trafficking charges will remain in custody for an additional eight days.
The suspects—David Obinna Sunday, Crosper Chidozie Ndeka, Chibuike Stephan Chilaka, and Chukwudi Udechukwu—were brought before the court following a police raid that uncovered 347 grams of cannabis, a precision scale with drug residue, and over 143,000 TL in cash.
Testimonies revealed ongoing sales and financial transfers abroad. The court approved the police request for extended detention as the investigation continues.
