Shooting Incident in Çatalköy: Parked Car Targeted, Suspect Arrested
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in Çatalköy after opening fire on a parked vehicle with a handgun. The incident occurred around 1:00 p.m. yesterday on Mersinli Street, according to a statement from the Police Press Office.
The suspect, identified as G.M., allegedly fired shots from outside the garden wall of a residence, targeting a vehicle parked inside the yard. The motive for the shooting remains unknown.
No injuries or fatalities were reported, but the vehicle sustained material damage from the bullets.
Police located and arrested G.M. shortly after the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
