Earthquakes Strike Aegean and Marmara Seas: 4.9 and 4.1 Magnitudes
Two moderate earthquakes were recorded early today in Turkey. According to the Kandilli Observatory, a 4.1-magnitude earthquake occurred in the Sea of Marmara at 07:19.
Earlier, at 02:30, a 4.9-magnitude tremor struck the Aegean Sea, as reported by the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) on its official website.
No casualties or damage have been reported so far. Authorities continue to monitor the regions closely.
