Suspect Arrested With Over 2 Kilograms of Drugs in Tanyeri Operation
A man was arrested during the police-led "Tanyeri Operation" after 2.17 kilograms of cannabis were found in his vehicle and residence.
According to a statement from the Police Press Office, teams from the Nicosia Police Department’s Crime Prevention Division and the Narcotics and Anti-Smuggling Directorate carried out a joint operation today in Nicosia and Kyrenia.
During the operation, searches were conducted in a vehicle used by 23-year-old S.J.M. and his residence. Authorities discovered a total of 2.17 kilograms of cannabis believed to be packaged for sale.
The suspect was taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
