Üstel: “The Dissolution of the PKK Is a Victory for the Turkish Nation”
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel announced via social media that a historic milestone has been reached in Turkey’s fight against the PKK terrorist organisation, declaring the end of a half-century-long threat.
“A fifty-year terror threat has come to an end. The PKK has disbanded itself and abandoned armed struggle. This historic decision marks a victory for the Turkish nation,” Üstel stated.
He credited the leadership of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the firm stance of Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) leader Devlet Bahçeli, and the unity of the People’s Alliance (Cumhur İttifakı) as the foundation of this achievement.
Üstel also stressed that this development carries not only significance for Turkey but offers hope for peace, stability, and security across the entire region.
