Three Students Remain Hospitalised After Yenierenköy Bus Accident
The treatment of three students injured in the school bus accident in Yenierenköy is ongoing in Nicosia. The students are receiving care at Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital following the crash that occurred when a bus carrying students overturned.
Undersecretary of the Ministry of National Education, Aytunç Şirket, provided an update to the Turkish Agency Cyprus (TAK) regarding the condition of the injured.
Şirket stated that out of the 28 injured students, 25 have been discharged along with the bus driver. He confirmed that the three remaining students are still under medical observation in Nicosia.
He also assured that none of the three students currently hospitalised are in critical condition and that their health is stable and being closely monitored.
The accident in Yenierenköy left a total of 29 people injured, including 28 students and the driver.
