Serdar Denktaş: We Are in the Founding Phase of a New Party!
Experienced politician Serdar Denktaş announced that the founding team for a new party positioned at the political center is beginning to take shape.
Speaking on Kanal T’s program "Saat 12" hosted by Damla Dabis, Denktaş stated that this new formation will offer an alternative to both the Republican Turkish Party (CTP) and the National Unity Party (UBP).
Denktaş emphasized their aim to present the public with an option beyond the existing polarization between the “two-state” and “federation” approaches to the Cyprus issue, proposing a third way.
He added that the new party will feature entirely new faces, and the presidential candidate will be determined after the party is officially established. The party’s name will be decided collectively by the founders.
