Drug Bust in Kyrenia’s “Holiday Operation” Seizes Cannabis, Cocaine; One Arrested
During a “Holiday Operation” carried out by the Crime Prevention Branch (CÖŞ) in Kyrenia yesterday, police seized 28 grams of cannabis and 4 grams of cocaine, arresting one suspect.
According to a statement from the Police Press Office, a vehicle driven by M.K. (38) was searched around 6:30 p.m. near Yavuz Landing Beach roundabout.
The search uncovered 28 grams of cannabis, 4 grams of a substance believed to be cocaine, and 45,400 TL in cash, suspected to be proceeds from drug sales.
The suspect was detained, and the investigation is ongoing.
