Ali Kişmir’s Trial Adjourned to October 30

The trial of journalist and Press Workers’ Union (Basın-Sen) President Ali Kişmir, who faces up to 10 years in prison over a social media post, has been adjourned to October 30.

The case, which is being heard at the Constitutional Court, concerns an article Kişmir shared online.
Kişmir is being represented by Turkish Cypriot Bar Association President Hasan Esendağlı. The next hearing is scheduled for Thursday, October 30.
