Fire Department Issues Important Warning to Drivers on Vehicle Fire Response
The Fire Department of the Police General Directorate has issued crucial advice to drivers regarding how to respond to vehicle fires.
Authorities emphasized the importance of keeping a dry chemical powder fire extinguisher with a minimum capacity of 2 kilograms in vehicles and using it correctly to prevent a fire from spreading and avoid serious dangers.
In an informational graphic titled “If Your Vehicle Catches Fire,” officials highlighted that drivers should first stop their vehicles calmly without panicking.
Citizens are advised to call the Fire Emergency Hotline at 199 to receive the fastest possible assistance in case of a fire.
