According to a statement from the Kyrenia Municipality Traffic Police Unit, drivers will be required to leave the payment receipt from the digital meter visibly on their vehicle’s dashboard. The statement emphasized that if the receipt is not clearly displayed, it will be considered as though the parking fee was not paid.

This new system marks the beginning of a regulated parking scheme in one of Kyrenia’s most visited areas, aiming to improve traffic flow and parking discipline along the busy street.
