Kyrenia Beach Waters Classified as “Excellent Quality”
Kyrenia Mayor Murat Şenkul announced that water quality tests conducted at Kervansaray and Antis beaches have confirmed the sea water to be of “excellent quality.”
The results, shared with the public on June 16, 2025, show significant improvement, particularly following the resolution of previous sewage issues in the Kervansaray area.

Kervansaray South Front: E. coli 0, Enterococcus 0

Kervansaray North Front: E. coli 0, Enterococcus 0

Antis Beach West Front: E. coli 0, Enterococcus 9
Mayor Şenkul noted that while water quality had been good in the past, recent measures have led to a notably higher standard as of mid-June.
