Justice Demanded for Ahsen
Relatives of Ahsen Nur Kilitçioğlu, who died under suspicious circumstances, held a demonstration at Silver Beach in Famagusta calling for justice under the slogan “Justice for Ahsen!”
Ahsen Nur Kilitçioğlu, 26, was found dead in the sea on 30 May in Famagusta. Since her death remains unexplained, her family, lawyers, civil society organizations, and concerned citizens gathered yesterday at Silver Beach—the location where her body was discovered—to demand justice and accountability.
During the commemoration, speakers emphasized the suspicious nature of Kilitçioğlu’s death and called for a thorough investigation into the incident. The event was marked by a collective call to shed light on all aspects of the case.
