In Nicosia, police launched an investigation into allegations against A.G. (F-45), an employee at a women’s clothing store, who allegedly failed to hand over a total of 3,700 TL in cash received from customers between March and June. Instead, she reportedly kept the money for herself. A.G. was arrested following the investigation.

In Karaağaç, two employees working at the reception of a local business — A.T. (M-30) and L.Q. (F-37) — were taken into custody after allegedly pocketing £800 received from a customer on May 26 without registering the payment or handing it over to the business.

In Ötüken, K.E. (M-38) was arrested in connection with the theft of rear right and left taillights from a parked vehicle on June 18.

In a more serious incident in Alsancak, M.N. (M-41) was reportedly under the influence of alcohol when he entered the garden of a residence without permission, shouted at the homeowner for speaking loudly, and then attacked with an illegally possessed knife. He was caught in the act and arrested at the scene.

Police investigations into all incidents are ongoing.
