Temperatures to Rise to 42 Degrees

The Meteorology Department has announced that temperatures in inland areas will soar to as high as 42°C. According to the weekly weather forecast covering 26 June–2 July, the weather will be mostly clear with light cloud, and patchy morning fog is expected through Saturday.

The highest temperatures are forecast to reach 39–42°C inland and 32–35°C in coastal areas during the first days of the period, gradually dropping to 35–38°C inland and 28–31°C along the coast later in the week.
Winds will blow from the south and west, moderate at first, and occasionally strong on the remaining days.
