Menelau: We Aim to Restart a Political Process on the Cyprus Issue
Greek Cypriot negotiator Menelaos Menelau stated that their goal is to reach a point where a political process on the Cyprus issue can begin anew.
According to Politis, speaking at an event organised by the Association of Displaced Villages from the Occupied Areas, as well as Famagusta, Nicosia, and Kyrenia, Menelau said the recent efforts aim to restart a political process that could lead to a mutually agreed solution on the Cyprus issue.
He emphasised that the Greek Cypriot side is working towards reaching a point where such a process becomes viable and revives the prospect of an agreed resolution. Menelau added that recent steps taken were in the right direction and would continue.
