Tatar Returns to Northern Cyprus After London Visits

President Ersin Tatar returned to Northern Cyprus at 08:20 this morning after completing his official visits in London.

He was welcomed at Ercan Airport by Presidential Undersecretary Okan Donangil and other presidential officials.
President Tatar is currently holding a press conference at Ercan Airport to evaluate his meetings.
Accompanied by his wife Sibel Tatar, he traveled to London on June 25 to participate in a series of official engagements and attend the eighth annual Turkish Cypriot Culture Festival organized by the UK Turkish Cypriot Associations Council.
During his London visit, President Tatar met with UK Minister for Europe Stephen Doughty.
He also held talks with British MP Sir Iain Duncan Smith, met members of the UK Parliament’s All-Party Parliamentary Group on the TRNC (APPG-TRNC), and had a meeting with former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
In Manchester, Tatar appeared as Guest of Honour at an event hosted by the British Museum Heritage Centre (BMHC), and attended a reception organized by the UK Turkish Cypriot Associations Council alongside his wife.
