Three Injured in Accident on Famagusta-Iskele Main Road
A vehicle lost control, hit barriers, and overturned in an accident on the Famagusta-Iskele main road, resulting in three injuries.
According to the Police Press Office, on June 29, 2025, at around 19:50, 85-year-old Tansay Fellahoğlu was driving a sedan with license plate KG 330 from Famagusta towards Iskele. Near the Sea Life Hotel, due to negligence and inattention, he failed to keep to the left side of the road and moved into the right lane.
At the same time, 20-year-old Salih Pakarı, driving a sedan with license plate NB 210 in the same direction, was blocked by Fellahoğlu’s vehicle, causing a collision. The impact caused Pakarı’s vehicle to overturn onto its right side.
The injured driver Salih Pakarı and passengers 15-year-old Tanem Kısa and 16-year-old Atınç Alasya were taken to Famagusta State Hospital for treatment.
Their conditions are reported as stable. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
