Parliament Paralyzed by Quorum Crisis: Seven MPs Blocked Key Legislation

The Parliament of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus was forced into summer recess without debating nine critical legislative proposals, including the highly anticipated Police Reform Bill and the Paid Military Service Law, due to a quorum crisis caused by the absence of seven MPs.

Despite a two-hour recess in an attempt to secure quorum, four MPs from the ruling parties failed to return to the chamber, effectively halting proceedings.
