4.6 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Aegean Sea

A 4.6 magnitude earthquake struck the Aegean Sea at 01:54, according to data published by Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).

The tremor, which had its epicentre in the Aegean Sea, occurred at a depth of 11.1 kilometres.
No immediate reports of damage or casualties have been made. Authorities are continuing to monitor the situation.
