Speaking on Kanal T, Atan criticised the government and coalition partners for neglecting public welfare and national security.

Atan accused Transport Minister Erhan Arıklı of inaction, stating, “Mr Arıklı only talks. For three months now, X-ray machines at the ports haven’t been working. No one knows what enters or leaves the country. Security has completely collapsed.”

He also drew attention to economic disparities, arguing that while members of parliament receive “exorbitant” salaries, ordinary citizens are forced to survive on a minimum wage. “The minimum wage committee must convene immediately. The people deserve a better standard of living,” Atan stressed.
