Kunzel's Trial Postponed to July 23
The trial of German national Ewa Isabella Kunzel, who is being prosecuted in South Cyprus for allegedly mediating the use of former Greek Cypriot properties in the TRNC, has been postponed to July 23 due to the absence of one of the judges.
According to Haravgi, the court hearing scheduled for yesterday was adjourned because a judge was unable to attend.
The report also noted that a “trial within a trial” is ongoing, stemming from Kunzel’s lawyer challenging the legality of her arrest. Once this phase concludes, final arguments from both sides are expected to be delivered in early August.
